SKB Flow operates a fully equipped machine shop staffed by experienced engineers and supported by a structured apprenticeship programme — ensuring precision workmanship across every project stage.
Apprenticeship programme: SKB Flow invests in the next generation of skilled engineers through an in-house apprenticeship scheme — developing competency in specialized valve machining and production processes from day one.
Certified welding & fabrication
Our welding department meets the demanding requirements of petrochemical, power, and industrial applications — with full procedural qualification and third-party oversight.
Welding processes
Four dedicated welding stations support GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), GMAW (MIG), and plasma cutting — all equipped with fume extraction and protective shielding for operator safety.
Programmable welding lathes and rotary manipulators (up to 30" dia, 150 kg capacity) allow consistent semi-automatic welding for repeat and high-volume orders.
Material capabilities
SKB Flow holds a comprehensive stock of over 20 filler metal types, covering a broad range of base materials:
- Carbon steel & stainless steel
- Duplex and super duplex steel
- Nickel and chrome alloys
- Stellite and hard-facing overlay materials
Welder and procedure qualification is conducted to ASME Section IX with third-party approval, ensuring compliance with international standards required by oil & gas clients.
